Treasurer and Secretary (founding member)
Gabriela is the Principal of Next Project, a custom homes design/built company since 1988.
She recognized the need to fundamentally change the way custom homes are serviced. Due to their
size, these homes are avid consumers of fossil fuels and big producers of CO2. Instead of restricting
people's comfort by reducing the size of their homes, she took the challenge to keep the size, change
the heating and cooling system and completely eliminate the need for natural gas service.
At the drafting board or during construction, Gabriela experienced the complexity of geothermal
installations. She brings experience in site coordination, design issues, OBC, municipal requirements
and inspection procedures as well as office management.
